Privacy Policy

ClaudeStats ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome extension that displays token usage statistics and plan usage data for Claude.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we collect:

• Your Google account email address
• Your display name
• A unique Google identifier (used only to recognize your account)

When you use ClaudeStats on claude.ai, we collect:

• Token counts per message (input and output tokens)
• Conversation identifiers (anonymous UUIDs from claude.ai)
• Model name used per conversation

We do not collect message content, conversation text, or any personal information beyond the above.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and verify your active subscription
• To display your token usage history across sessions
• To generate usage trends and statistics shown in the extension

We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any third party.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on a secured private server (Contabo VPS, EU-based). Auth tokens are hashed before storage. Usage data is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth — used for sign-in only. We receive your email and name from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to any Google services.
• PayPal — used to process subscription payments. We do not store payment details. PayPal's privacy policy applies to payment processing.

5. Claude.ai Data

ClaudeStats reads token count metadata from claude.ai's API responses in your browser. This data never leaves your browser except for the anonymous token counts stored on our server. We do not read, store, or transmit your conversation content.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can request a copy of your stored data by emailing us
• Deletion: You can request deletion of all your data at any time
• Cancellation: Cancelling your subscription stops all future data collection

7. Cookies & Local Storage

The extension stores your auth token locally in Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). This data stays on your device and is not accessible to websites or other extensions.

8. Children's Privacy

ClaudeStats is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via the extension.
